BCI was founded in 2022 by Patrick Bergman MA BPM BAcc and Shana Bergman MA.

Patrick is a highly experienced management consultant with over 25 years of experience in 4 different countries, an authority in program and project management in an international context.

Patrick is a born researcher, pioneer, manager, writer and inspiring advisor with extensive experience in sustainable development (spatial planning, water management, innovation ecosystems, energy transition, and health)  in both Europe and developing countries). 

BCI focuses on high-quality grant management, governance, and management consulting and offers the following services:

• Research into subsidy opportunities around the broad theme of sustainability (for government, business, and innovation ecosystems, including both national and applicable European subsidies) and writing project plans, proposal writing;
• Fund raising;
• Advice on program and project management (e.g., analyzing the progress of implementation in your organization and advising on improvement/acceleration/solving bottlenecks);
• Policy research and advice, writing policy papers, project plans;
• Investigating and preparing business cases around sustainability;
• Grant management, interim project and program management of (international) projects;
• Coaching / sparring partner for project, program managers and entrepreneurs.
